JBL LIVE 200BT Neckband Headphone Review: Best for Audio Lovers

JBL LIVE200BT Wireless In-Ear Neckband Headphones Review: Last month, JBL launched five live series headphones in India. One of these was a neckband patterned in-ear headphones - JBL Live 200BT. The company had priced it at Rs 5,299. However, it is currently being sold for Rs 3,999. We have used it and now we are going to give its review to you.

Design and comfort

Nowadays there is a lot of demand in the market for netband patterned wireless headphones. There are also quite a few headphones with a neckband pattern in the market. However, in terms of its build quality, soft rubber has been used in its good condition, which is quite flexible. Also, there are hard plastics in the left and right portions. Here all the control buttons are given on the right side. The wire provided to connect the earphones to the neckband is very small and has a fabric coating. In such a situation, it is very easy to keep and use. Its placement has been done in such a way that they stay just under the ear at the time of use. The good thing is that in it earbuds have been given a special angle for better grip and better sound output in the ears.

The plastic panel on its right side has two LED indicators (charging and connectivity), micro USB charging port, microphone, and power on / off switch inside. It is very easy to connect. A separate switch is provided for the power button, for which only single access is sufficient. On the other side, there is a slightly embossed multi-button on the outside and there are volume rockers. A multi-button can be used to activate Google Assistant or Siri on song play/pause, call cut/receive and double-tap.

On the other hand, by holding the volume rockers for a few seconds, the song can be preceded or next. However, I would like to tell you here that there is some difficulty in using its volume rockers. Because volume rockers are slightly less raised than multi buttons. In such a situation, while using it, a little straggling has to be done. The company may have done this for easy access to multi buttons, but due to this, the problem increases.

Talking about its overall build quality, it is very easy to use and the body material is also very strong and luxurious. But the problem is that it is not so good looking. That is, the first thing is that the wires given to attach the earphone to the noseband are small. If you attach them to the magnets, then it does not look good. Apart from this, none of these magnets play/pause.

Apart from this, it looks quite broad when worn over a shirt. That is, it can hardly be said to be casual, semi-casual or sporty for any look. Similarly, while wearing a shirt, it can also happen that if the microphone is covered by the collar, it is difficult to talk during the call and the wires also get stuck. It also starts sliding when there is a slight miss balance. These are some of the problems in this neckband.

Performance

Here are 8mm dynamic drivers. We have used this earphone with many genres such as classical, psychedelic rock, jazz, rock, dubstep, EDM, BDM, metal, trance, and folk. This in-ear Bluetooth headphone delivers amazing audio output in almost every genre. Here Highs, Mids and Lows are all perfect. Especially the output of the sub-base is so punchy and crispy that you will enjoy it a lot. As much as the output of the Lows is superb, the Mids and Highs are sharp and clean. The special thing is that in this wireless headphones, you will not be irritated even at the full sound. In such a situation, I would like to give it sound quality 5/5 in terms of price. Bullets Wireless headphones of this price range OnePlus also comes, which costs Rs 3,990. We used it too, but the audio quality of JBL's Live 200BT is much better.

Talking about calling performance, since it does not have the active noise cancellation feature, it can be a problem to talk while walking fast in places like the market or bike. There will be no problem in the rest of the regular calls. Apart from this, it takes 2 hours to fully charge the battery and once fully charged, we have run it for about 9.5 hours. In this context, battery performance is also very strong.

Decision

Just in terms of looks, these headphones can disappoint a bit. For the rest of the audio lovers, it can be called the best wireless Bluetooth earphone in the budget range. In such a situation, music enthusiasts can easily invest in it.
